some references//

I'm working this week with some friends in Brazil (Renata La Rocca, Graziele Lautenschlaeger e Fernando Pimentel) in a first materialization of an installation converging the two main references I’m working with – Borges’s A Bao a Qu and Clarice Lispector’s The Stream of Life. The idea is to have a dark room with a spiraling stair in the center projected onto the ground which one the person will imaginarily climb. Some exerts of the Clarice’s book will be written onto the walls of this imaginary room like memories of one who was in there. Accompanying the never-ending process of climbing the stair into this room, a video projected onto the ground follows the movements of the one who climbs.
